How to get a free gym membership for military members

black military boots on white backgroundMany people are joining the military or are even getting deployed on a daily basis. It’s an easy time to think about joining the military as well because of all the jobs that aren’t around. The unemployment in America is very high and it’s hard to even think about extras in life such as a gym membership currently, but many gyms will work with people in the military or are at least in a pool to join the military.

Now to get the gym membership which isn’t hard to do for free is to find some gyms located around you. Once you have found a gym you should either call or go into the gym and ask to speak to a manager. After you set up an appointment or talk to someone in person you should ask if you could use the gym for a month or two before you ship to your destination. Many gyms will be more than happy to give you a free short term membership or a very discounted one.

If you can’t get a free membership to one gym try another one. Both places I tried at were more than happy to give me a free short term membership. This is a nice feature that gyms offer at times because when you get to boot camp you want to be in decent shape at least or else your just going to make it harder on yourself.
