Roast beef and hash plus two eggs
One of the best meals for a lifter is a high protein meal with a low amount of carbohydrates. It’s not the type of meal you’d consume before you lift though. It’s a better meal for after lifting since it has a lower amount of carbohydrates. You don’t need many carbohydrates after a workout except for directly after to give your body the boost it needs. This is why it’s better to eat this later in the day when you don’t need carbohydrates and about an hour after your post workout meal.
